airforcewife
I am gonna make my frist piller in a few days and I was wondering if there is a kind of wick specialy made for pillers? I plan on making a 3 wick round piller and I want to get the right kind of wick for it and I have no clue what it would be I've done a lot of reading but still cant figure it out. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Crowded House
Seriously, one would first need to know what sort of wax you are using for your pillar before suggesting a wick size.
hotmama
I always used a square braid cotton wick that you can buy by the yard or in spools. They were raw and worked fine for me but some say you need to treat them with wax before you use them if not already treated. As far as the size goes, that would depend on the diameter of the candle and most websites state what diameter the wick is recommended for. Be warned, soy pillars are tricky!Mama
