littysmom
Hi, i have heard that cleaned bacon grease makes good soap? Any truth? If so, where can I find recipes. Does anyone have any to share? Thanks
Sabsgurl
I screwed around with it once. Made it with natural cocoa butter. Used bacon grease in place of lard. That bar of soap is so hard when you bang two bars together they make a clinking noise. lol No bacon smell at all. Sorry no recipe because it was so long ago, and it was just one of those "Screw around with recipes to see what happens" lol

Carrie
I would just use lard. It's cheap and way easier, no cleaning or straining. There are tons of lard recipes out there. Good luck.
