kalamazoo
I wish I had made these, but I did not. These shapes are becoming popular and thin triangles and rectangle shapes are available too. Was wondering if anyone had any ideas as to what type of mould could be used to make such a candle - a cake tin comes to mind, but how would you get the wick straight and stay in place while it sets up. Any thoughts, info, would be much appreciated.
Aspencreek
Those are pretty cool looking but I would have no idea where to start. I would also worry about them being to thin and burning right down the middle but that is me.

BruceYah, I just didn't state that right. I meant it would burn down real quick with not a very long burn time. I am sure that they can be done right though (especially by you Bruce)

BruceCarvesWax
Wouldnt it be cool to have the wicks end where you want and when the flames all burn out it has left a wax shape, like 2 fingers = a piece sign.... or one finger as in you know what? Donita
I like this idea too.....I think I will research it and try.....try is the word to make some. I am thinking that a high melt point wax might help. Donita
creativegems
What would be cool Bruce is a thin hand candle with wicks on the fingers you want to burn down to get the peace sign. The fingers would have to be apart from each other and have the lines so they look like fingers.Janet

kalamazoo
Thanks everyone for your replies. Bruce, like the idea of the "finger", could be sent to people who deserve it. Will let you know if I come up with anything.

BruceCarvesWax
They must use a tealight wick for that kind of burn. I burned mine tonight and it had a much larger flame than this one.. and not drips! Bruce
