Lin
Those of you that know me know i allways did hp soap, but i changed to cp as its smoother looking. Any way last night i made some cp and forgot to cover it so it was just left out open all night. It looks good and the center looks like gel, and is still pretty soft this morning. My question is will it be all right or should i rebatch it? I just covered it and put it in the oven this morning. Lin
ebcandles
Doesnt matter if it gels or not, its still gonna turn into soap. Most people try to avoid gel so they dont unsulate their molds. All you have to do is wait until its a little harder then cut it. If it doesnt zap, I wouldnt worry about it. If it zaps, then you have issues. I would then consider rebatching. shutterbugg
Lin, can you use the micas, oxides and ultramarines in hp soap? Someone was asking and i didnt know the answer. TIA
Lin
To tell you the truth Shutterbug i neaver used any of them so im not sure either. I changed over to the cp method cause the soap seems to look nicer longer. Lin
