ladysj
I know that the Green French Clay says it's best used for normal to oily skin. Does anyone know right off hand if any of the clays are good for dry skin? The recipe I found is made with cocoa butter at 8 ounces and says recommended for normal to dry skin. I was wondering if the cocoa butter would be moisturizing enough.
Rebecca_IA
Pink aussie clay, found at kangaroo blue. Keep in mind though, soap won't moisturize. At best, a soap can be formulated to be a gentler cleansing bar, but it won't moisturize.
Crafty1_AJ
I have dry skin, and most of the clays I've tried tend to dry my skin out. Sorry to be the bearer of bad experiences. lol
sockmonkey
Are you wanting a soap for your face or an all over body bar? Most clays draw out oils, but I see that yellow, pink, and white are suitable for use on dry skin. http://fromnaturewithlove.com/soap/Clays.aspFrom personal experience, I've found that no "moisturizing" bar will do the trick on my dry skin. I have to slather on lotion, vaseline, or any other butter directly on my skin. Any moisturizing properties in a bar of soap get rinsed right down the drain or toweled off. SoapLady
I haven't ventured into clays yet. From what I've read (verified by the above link), kaolin is supposed to be fairly gentle.
