danny
Hi gang I have a daughter who wants to start making candles for herself and her friends and was wondering if anybody knows if Kmart, Walmart, or any of the national craft stores sells a kit with basic instructions and supplies? Any advice appreciated.
Georgia
I'm sure they do, but you are probably better off ordering a kit from a supplier on-line. You will get everything you need and better quality to boot. I don't know where you are located but Peak and BCN have kits. I'm sure there are a lot more, but those are the 2 I know off the top of my head.
ScentsandMore
Here is a link for suppliers by state that you can check out to see if anyone close to you has kits. Good luck.
Late Night
Michaels sells kits but as everyone else has said, it's better to go on line to a store who sells quality products. A cheap kit that doesn't turn out a good candle may discourage her.
gerrie
I agree, buy a kit online, like at Peaks. At least you will have a quality product, plus the great customer service. They will help you along if you have any questions.
Aspencreek
Hobby Lobby has a kit also but I would agree with everyone else on going online with a supplier such as Peak Candles and using them, much better product.
nmhoneybear
I started with a kit from Cajun and was very happy with it. I wouldn't waste money on the kits from craft stores.:smiley2:
