Kay
I finally got my husband to hook up my spout on my presto pot. And it actually works!! I guess i'l use this for awhile & then move up to the turf & surf fryer. I dont make that much yet to go up in size..my presto pot does just as good now. Carlena
"CONGRATULATIONS" Kay! I remember when finally 'talked' my Hubby into doing it.....he was scared at first but he got over that & done another one for me - I love my Spigot:yay: ~Carlena~www.carlenascreations.com
dpowell
I agree, I like the spigots too. The only problem I have is that the aluminum on the pot strips out easily when threading it. I have fixed that though, and have made two of these and will probably do another one next week sometime.
Stella1952
HOORAY! It's so handy!I know you aren't letting wax go into your sink, eh?...
dpowell
I'd hope not. I'm guessing that was to test with water to make sure there were no leaks. That's what I do at least. I'd hate to fill it with wax after making it and have a leak.
Kay
HOORAY! It's so handy!I know you aren't letting wax go into your sink, eh?...No, I was testing it there in that picture with water, but when I poured a test with wax I had a bowl under the spigot. sinjun
I have never seen anything like that before! I assume it is for melting candle wax? How do you get the hole in the pot though?
von691
my husband used a hole drill on mine the size of my spigot , put on the spigot and then used JB Weld to seal it.
