ladysj
Does anyone know how much soy I could add to paraffin and still be able to use it for pillars?
Sally
Is the soy you're referring to a pillar or container blend? Not quite sure if this will help at all but I'm experimenting with soy /para blends @ 50/50 & 70soy/30pw both are pillar waxes anyway & both work tho I prefer the 70/30 myself.Sally. ladysj
lol Sally I didn't even think about that when I asked this question. It's in flake form, I bought it off of the classies and it says it's for tarts. So I'm not sure that this would work.
Sally
Both my pillar & container soys are in flake form, the pillar blend feels harder than the cb which usually feels more greasy.I use the pb for tarts as its easier to demould & doesn't mess up the packaging so I'm guessing yours is a pb.I started out making pillars with soy only but I'm finding my blend works better all round.Sally. ladysj
Thank you for the help. I'll give the 70/30 a try tomorrow.
