ladysj
For those of you that have used this in your soaps. Could you tell that it made any better a bar than the regular oils? I seem to remember reading some where that Avocado Oil makes if more of a luxurious/luxury bar. I was also wondering if I could add some mashed up avocadoes to it. I'm going to read up on the oil again as far as it's properties etc. but thought someone out there may have already used it and would share their thoughts. AkainePSP
I can't speak for soap but I do use it in my lotion and it is wonderful.

Jcandleattic
Yes, I can def. tell a difference in the soaps. They seem to be more conditioning. Definitely a good oil to make a luxury bar. I don't know about actual avocado's though. I've never soaped with real food other than fresh gm. HTH
arkangel
I like it up to 20% in soaps. If you're looking for a rich bar, you might want to try hemp, too. Don't know about fresh avocado though. The lye will probably turn that to brown mush :undecided
