fredron
For those of you besides me who have been having problems with the Joy wax getting a white crust on the outside of the candle, NG has, after a number of proddings from me, passed on the following instruction.Heat to 200 degrees, add color at 200 degrees, add FO at 195 degrees, and pour at 190. (This flies in the face of their printed instructions)I'll try it & let you know how I make out. Fredron
PurpleHippie
Thanks for sharing the information. This use to be my favorite wax but after having so many problems with it over the last 6 months - year I've decided to move on to another wax. I still have 20 lbs. left so I can experiment with the suggestions. Very nice of you to share that with everyone!
