MichelleOH
Has anyone soaped this one? Does it discolor? Thanks
elitenaildesign
Yes it will discolor to a tan. I looked in my notes and didnt see any accerlation from it. One thing I do recommend is go light on it. it can be a little overpowering.
diamondk
elitenaildesigns soaped it for the Solas swap and I don't see any color listed so it must discolor a dark green but on the other hand maybe she forgot to list the color. Hopefully she will see this and answer the question for ya.

MichelleOH
Thanks guys. I had a feeling it discolored! Off to think what color if any will be best!
elitenaildesign
I must have forgot to list I added colorant to the list for the green bars in the swap. I cnat even remember what colorant I used. The other batch in the swap are tan w/black swirls. I do remember the tan part.
CareBear
I soaped it and the discoloration is more of a caramel color - much darker than "light tan" IME. I posted it in the gallery (http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42636) - the main portion is uncolored so all that came from the FO; the swirl is gold mica and lots of it. Grumpy Girl
Add a little TD to it. I soaped it at 1oz. PP and it stayed a light creamy tan.
MichelleOH
Thanks everyone! beautiful carebear! I guess I'll give it a whirl!
elitenaildesign
Gosh Carol, I dont remember that picture. It looks awesome. I am wondering if I added TD to mine to make it lighter. Seems like a person has to hurry when swriling, its hard to remember what I did.
CareBear
something tells me my base recipe is a bit darker than some so that could be part of it. I'm actually going to make an unfragranced batch tonight to see - cause others tell me the Brooklyn Biscotti doesn't discolor and mine looked a little tan where I didn't add the TD. So I'll find out soon!
