cocopop
O.k. I'll ask! The jars that have what look like real fruit in the gel wax, are they real fruit or some kinda wax? I am new to gel wax and am playing with different things. I would like to make the fruit jars, but have no idea how to. Any info? Thanks! skydreamer
They are probably wax fruit, you can purchase fruit wax embeds to place in to your gel candle. Depending on the supplier they can look very realistic.
jazzbo848
wax embeds have come a long way in the last few years. with the silicone molds, fruit embeds look good enough to eat.real fruit is not a good thing to embed in gel candles. it can be flammable and it can get all moldy.cheryl

TheWickChick
I'm new to candle making too. I'd like to use dried flowers and fruit in a nested container candle. Has anyone tried this? Will the fruit get icky or discolor the gel?
