number2of7
For those of you who make and sell candles in seamless round tins, which size is the most popular?2 oz4 oz6 oz8 oz16 ozAlso, do you prefer the solid top or the window top?
Toni S.
My most popular tin is the 8 oz. size plus this one is "perfect" for wickless!! I've never tried the smaller sizes but did offer the 16 oz. and have since discontinued it. Seems people I sell to would rather buy 2 or 3 smaller ones in different fragrances over a larger candle in one fragrance. HTH?My tops were solid, not window so I can't give any advise there
hometowncandles
I also would be interested in hearing opinions on this, I have been looking to add a few tins to my line and there are just so many choices. It would be nice to know what is selling the best for everybody.Jennifer
prairieannie
My most popular is the 8oz. And I get the tins with no window.. I don't like them. Not sure if my customers would or not, but I didn't give them that choice lol.
schmoopie
I wholesale these.... most popular are the 4oz and 8 oz. I do carry the 16 oz and have only 4 accounts that carry these. No window lids for me... they get all smudged with finger prints.
bugtussle
6 Oz Tins, no window. Biggest seller!! Carole
Candle Man
I would say the 6oz + it's easier to wick than an 8oz.

jillgunter
I dont sell, but I prefer the 8 oz tins. If I was a customer I would buy the 8 oz, maybe a 4 oz too.
lindanelson
I sell the 4 oz and 8 oz window tins. It's the 4 oz wickless that sell good for me.I offer both sizes in wicked and wickless. I am thinking about changing when all my tins are gone, to the no window ones. The window part does get smudged, and can get scratch marks in it. It also comes out really easy.I think the no window ones will be easier to label also. The advantage to the window tins...you and customers can see what color the candle is without opening it.
