Scented
Or however that's spelled. I'm not thrilled with the spottiness of the black. I stirred and stirred and stirred the black oxide, but not enough apparently. One semi cool piece (had it not been so spotty I'd love it). And a couple ho hums. Thankfully it's a swap eh? lol!
maryann
Very nice!! SO glad you posted the cut pics :highfive: !Curious what do you mix your black w/ ?? I found that mixing it a day ahead w/ oil is the only way I can get it to mix completely. Everything else I mix w/ glycerin.
Scented
I mix with glycerin. I just might have to try that mixing a day ahead.
maryann
Julie you should try RBO or OO. I experimented once w/ the black oxide. I mixed it w/ glycerin and left it for a week and it seperated. I've had GREAT luck mixing it with oil. For some reason I've been using alot of black lately.

Meridith
I've had my colorant do that too. It is so maddening. But no bother, your soap still looks cool and I'll bet it smells wonderful

Michi
I agree that black oxide is a PITA most times, but I have to say that the spottiness looks really good in your soap, and I just love that orange in there.
