Kelly
I've noticed a lot of eBayers don't label thier Perfume Oils and I was just wondering if anyone knew off hand if we have to put our ingredients on the labels just like you would any other B&B product? sockmonkey
I challenge you to find a legitimate supplier who lists the ingredients of their fragrance oils on their labels. They consider it proprietary.
Kelly
Well, not fragrance oils, but Perfume Oils, since they are applied to the skin I thought that it may be regulated by the FDA Labeling Requirements, just like body sprays. I no longer have the perfume packaging for my perfumes, but the "ingredients" (such as perfumers alcohol, fragrance, vitamin E ete.) is not listed on the bottle, but who's to say it wasn't on the original boxing? mystical_angel1219
This is actually a good question, and Bunny or Robin could give you a detailed reason why or why not.I am almost positive that perfume needs to have INCI labeling to be compliant with government standards. The only product I know that is exempt from this is soap. Mind boggling, isn't it? LOL!
Kelly
I just want to make sure I comply, regardless of what others are doing! Hopefully Bunny or Robin will stop by and see this post... otherwise I may have to harass them via PM!
mystical_angel1219
Perfume does need to have INCI labeling to be complaint.
Kelly
Okey dokey! Thanks much for your help... even though I'm sure many get away with not listing INCI I won't be one of them!
sockmonkey
It's not like most of the people buying your product would have a clue what any of the ingredients are, or even where to find them.By the way, I just took a look at B&BW body splash, and it has a complete listing of ingredients. Kelly
Yeah I thought so, but your [sockmonkey] original post was that you were challenging me to find the ingrediants listed on perfume oils (what my post is about). And I think most people will know my ingredients in my perfume oils, its a pretty simple basic recipe. But I think most people are too lazy to make thier own etc.
sockmonkey
I thought when you said perfume oils you were referring to the undiluted fragrance oil itself, not the finished product you get from using them.
Kelly
Oh, hehe, well then I would have said Fragrance Oil!
