Wick'n'Wax
Hi,I have a lovely jar I'm trying to use.I made one up using an LX8 but the flame just couldn't cope as it got half way down the jar. Was a tiny tiny flame, crying out for oxygen lolThe actual opening is 40mm wide but inside it widens to @80mm.(one on the right)I'm going to try an eco2 today, has anyone else used anything like this before and successfully wicked it?I have all the LX wicks except lx10 and have eco2, 4, 6 and 8thanks
NattyCat
I wouldn't try to wick it. the mouth is too small. if you use a wick large enough to cope with the width of the jar at it's widest, the heat at the top of the flame near the narrow opening will a) turn the mouth of the jar black with soot and possibly make the jar explode due to the excessive heat trapped inside. That's not a good container for candles. the left and middle ones are OK.
