janesoap
Anyone tried putting there bath salts and such in milk style cartons? I saw someone at a craft show that was using them and they looked so cute. Can anyone tell me where to get them? I would appreciate it. Thanks. Jane. thesoapbox
I've been looking around to try and find these. So far I have found the plastic jug types here:http://www.freundcontainer.com/product.asp?pn=37508&EID=FD051206pop86?gclid=CJ7O-JHT44wCFQwzZAodxnfH7g&bhcd2=1182100383Still looking for the cartons though.Angi
melusina
I have bought them from here:http://www.allamericancontainers.com/dairy.htmTheir website stinks so you have to call them. Also, you have to buy a case but the prices are excellent. They price by the 1000 but sell by the case and the milk jugs are very light to ship. If anyone here is in Florida they have a few whse for pick up and you can really save. Customer service folks are really nice.

I like the little honey bear squeeges though.EDIT:Found these!ebay site - $16.80 for a lot of 48, but they're even coated inside so they can stand up to small amounts of oilshttp://cgi.ebay.com/Pint-Milk-Style-Carton-Bath-Salt-Container-48_W0QQitemZ190122765210QQihZ009QQcategoryZ83895QQcmdZViewItemA shop ostensibly, but when I clicked on individual items they led to ebay anyhoohttp://www.mascofarms.com/Bags-Packaging,c83895,1.html
janesoap
The paper cartons were the ones I was looking for. I never thought to look on ebay, thank you. They have several different sizes too. Wow. I love them. Thanks again jadryga. Jane;)
janesoap
Also found milk cartons from what looks like the same seller on Overstock.com with same prices. Jane:drool:
Jooniper
I use the 1/2 pint size from that seller on ebay. Service is great and I thought the prices were excellent. I put my "Milk Suds" in them and use a plastic liner bag. Even though I have to glue those cartons together....I was not sure the powder would not sift out. Getting the hang of putting them together was a little tricky too.....then again, I am a little challenged in that area anyway.

janesoap
Hi Everyone, I contacted the seller on eBay for these cartons and she said that as long as a glue gun or heat gun is used to close the cartons correctly, a small amount of oils are fine and that a liner bag is not really necessary. She said that her bath salt recipe has about 3 Tbs of Oils per 16 oz.Jane
janesoap
I am also getting some of the Pint size to decorate (decoupage) and use as gift boxes for my soap at craft shows, I also make jewelry and they will work for that too.
