BLSoaps
Does anyone know if these are the SAME Flat Rate Boxes we use for our US shipping? I haven't seen any different boxes on the USPS website that are different, so I'm assuming they are, but I need to ship a box to South Africa (as well as get quotes for some other countries), and I need to be sure they're using the same boxes. I figured I'd get a faster response from you guys than trying to maneuver through the USPS's automated phone system and then being on hold forever with them before actually talking to a person. My own carrier didn't know unfortunately. Thanks everyone!
RobinInOR
The new boxes say "For domestic and international" on the side, so I'd say they're the same boxes.
BLSoaps
Thanks Robin! I just got off the phone with USPS (only took 20 minutes....grrrrr), and the guy said they were the same. Yay!
sudsnwicks
I also received a letter from them, saying the original domestic boxes can be used for international mailing as well. So you wouldn't even need to get the new boxes if you still have the old ones.
Wick'n'Wax
ooh, can anyone tell me the dimensions of this box? I know they hold upto 20lbs, but don't know how big they are?
RobinInOR
The fattest one is 8.5 x 11 x 5.5 inches. Fits our paper size (not A4). There's another one that's 11-7/8" x 3-3/8" x 13-5/8".

Sherri in Canada
Canada is 23.00 or 21.85 if you purchase postage online...International is 37.00 and I'm not sure of the discounted rate for online postage
BLSoaps
$35.00 if you buy online. I haven't checked out insurance on them though. Just realized I didn't charge for insurance on the quote I just sent, so I guess I'm insuring it at my cost this time around. Now if only I could figure out where those green 'customs' forms went.... I hate having to fill those out first. I can never find them, and that means I have to take it into the post office. Grrrrr....
