Crafty1_AJ
Patchouli eo is awesome in CP. Hangs on like a champ. It's one of the very few soap scents that I can still smell lingering on my skin after a shower. I like a well-aged patchouli, so I keep lots on hand for when I need it. Rose geranium is also pretty strong in CP; although I personally haven't soaped it, a friend of mine sent me a bar of hers and it was great.Clary sage smells like ... I dunno. Fresh & "green" and herbally. I stink at descriptions!
CareBear
new directions aromatics has good descriptors
Carriegsxr6
Patch is wonderful and the other two you suggested are going to smell great. Litsea Cubeba is also a wonderful scent and it holds better than other lemon EOs.
Crafty1_AJ
Lemongrass eo is another good sticker.
ChrisR
I LOVE my patchouli EO soaps......I use it straight or blend it: Patchouli & Lavender; Patchouli & Orange; Patchouli & Sandalwood.....the list goes on!!
Hibiscus
Oh how I love my patch and warm vanilla sugar soap...come to think of it I love all the soap I've made with patch, tea tree, pink grapefruit, ornage, litsea,..just love soaping eo's and using them in other B&B products:D
Tall Blonde
Lemongrass eo is another good sticker. I find lemongrass really strong. I usually cut it with another eo.
CareBear
I made a lovely soap: 2 parts lavender: 1 part lemongrass : 1 part litsea. 2 months later a woman picked it up and said OH I LOVE LEMONGRASS. Couldn't even smell the lavender so it must be kick-a$$ strong.
sweetiepie
You've gotten excellent advice, but I just want to add a word of warning about rose geranium. It can (and almost always does) seize like crazy, so work fast if you use it.EO's are awesome, have fun!
