thecandlespastore
Trying out new labeling and wrapping for my soaps. Tried using boxes, but I am an "outside the box" girl. So I bought a roll of kraft paper at Staples, cut it into strips, and I like the way it came out. Simple, easy, fast. This is the most well behaved batch of pine tar soap I have ever made. I soaped it ice cold and stirred it with a spoon till it traced, which took 7 minutes, a record considering that I used to get trace at -3 seconds after pouring the lye in. Scented with peppermint and patchouli Eo.I never seem to have an unscented bar in stock (I forget to make unscented, lol) so I made lots of this:One of my favorites:This one I did not care for OOB, but in soap it is amazing:

Candybee
Love the look of the craft paper. Very natural looking. Your soaps look so good!! I am loving the honeycomb look you got with the honey and propolis. Wow! Thanks for sharing your pics.

eugenia
Watch that you don't band them too soon. If the soap is still shrinking, the bands will get too loose and look like crap.Soaps look lovely!
Brenda
Fantastic looking soaps and great pictures! I like the natural look of the bands; they're in keeping with your handmade theme.

topofmurrayhill
That's such a great assortment of soap. I don't know where to begin.Just to take a few at random, the peppermint patchouli pine tar soap looks and sounds unusual, which makes me want to try it. Umu flower sounds exotic and looks inviting.Hell I'm looking over them and I give up trying to decide what to remark on. It's just a real nice collection!
