8-GRAN-ONES
Just a question, on how do gauge your candle jar lids...I buy mine from Fairway glass, and I love the looks of them..But you really have to be careful to not pick up the jars by the lid.Even my 10 oz. size I don't like to pick it up by the lid as you never know when the lid is going to come off.Do any of you have this problem? Or is this common? If not do any of you know a good supplier of jars in Calif. or close?I just don't want a customer to pick up a 16 oz. jar and the lid come off and drop and hurt their foot or something..I would like to know how you all address this..lid thing..Your comments and help are appreciated.. Carriegsxr6
if you are going for lids that do not screw on, then they will be droped for sure. Sometimes those filiments in the apothecary jars dont fit snug enough. Everyone always picks up my candles by their lid.
grama
Had that problem with some of my apoth jars but now I buy them from cs and the lids are larger and they stay on tight. Some of the others used a smaller lid and they were definitely loose.
