cybersix
thanks girls, I forgot two pillars but when I'll make some more I'll take pics of everything.I'm using my light box but sometimes i can't get what I want (and at 11 PM I'm too tired to do it once again!) kalamazoo
Wow those are great looking candles. Using a lightbox sure makes a difference to taking shots of your candles. The pics are not too busy and show of the candles perfectly. The pyramid candle is beautiful, just the two colours, it looks very classy. I love the "smooth" rustics you have there, the swirling technique is certainly worth getting the hang of. I am doing rustics in tin moulds at the moment and get a real texture/frosting on them, (a lot stays in the mould though), and when I use the aluminium moulds I get more of a smooth look. Well done on the order and keep posting what you have finished.:smiley2:

cybersix
Wow thanks to everyone! It makes me feel better waking in the morning and reading such nice comments on my pillars!About the "smooth" rustics.. I want the opaque ones LOL, but my wax is very soft and I'm adding just a pinch of vybar to help burning.Oh and I never use wax when it has a film on the top, probably doing so is still a bit hot and I can't achieve the opaque rustics. But these are for an order so I have to stick with what I know works. Thanks again! Godiva
Those are all gorgeous - I'm partial to green and really love that round pillar. I've only done containers and votives so far - gunshy about tackling pillars - yours make me want to try! And your pictures are wonderful!
