scentlady
Anyone know of a good source for baskets that are cheaper than A C Moore or Michaels? The one I found online required large minimum purchase.
CandleFreak
have you checked out walmart....they have some nice ones at a reasonable price! I have checked a few places online and they seem costly even at wholesale pricing......maybe some knows of some places that are cheaper.... Guest EMercier
I get small baskets from the dollar tree. They work for small gift baskets.

Scented
See above answers lol! I think Wal-Mart has more of a selection though. We were fortunate to catch a moving sale out of Pier One and got baskets there.
Guest ShellyRobyn
have you checked out walmart....they have some nice ones at a reasonable price!I agree! And they change their styles/designs often so they always have something new. And.... they put the older style on clearance so they're super cheap! LynnS
Big Lots like some mentioned.Baskets get higher and higher all the time.I also look at the Dollar Stores. You can make a neat basket and for some the baskets are only $1.00.For those metal ones they make a cute candle/lotion basket. That is what some of the stores offer around Christmas time. They have them marked real high.Saw some yesterday at Wal Mart.LynnS
Jeana
I found some interesting ones at Ikea and Ross, for pretty cheap. Sometimes Walmart has them cheap too.
RobinInOR
And also think "outside the basket" for other containers that you can use as a theme. Baking dishes that are pretty colors, metal colanders, decorative plant pots, flat serving trays....
LynnS
Robin.I know I saw some really pretty boxes for Christmas at Big Lots. I think they would be great for a lotion and candle gift item.Maybe a candle, lotion, tarts and anything else.Thinking about making a few for a Christmas show. Another different idea.LynnS

heirloomoriginals
I like the small wicker laundry baskets from Walmart. I did one for my sil's wedding and I was able to fit a small bottle of sparkling cider, two goblets, 4 votive holders with candles in them and a pint jar of cappuccino mix in it. I think they are around $1.25 a piece. I also saw that Walmart had a lot of nice Christmas tins out.Robin, I never thought of thinking outside the box!!!HTH,Steph
Candle Man
Seems I can only find quality, cheep priced, baskets only at Christmas time and they are Christmas colors. I buy more for the rest of the year then I spray paint them, cheeper that way and any color I need.
