diamondk
BCN has a good lotion base and aloe body wash. I use these and I also use the bubble bath and the antibacterial hand soap. HTH
deputy6512
OK...I have considered buying some bases as well, but was wondering if that is really all there is to it is adding your own fragrance and color? Just seems to easy to me:)
sudsnwicks
There is the type where you just add fragrance and color (optional). Then there is the multi-use type where you add some distilled water to get the desired texture i.e. more water to make lotion, less water to make cream. AngelaVA
I love Bittercreek's lotion base. I only have to add Fo and it works great. It isn't greasy and feels great on the skin.
heirloomoriginals
I have to add a third plug for Bittercreek's bases. The only one I haven't tried is the hand soap one. The lotion is great and feels wonderful on your skin. I haven't started selling lotion and b and b yet, but I plan on adding it soon! I am also thinking of trying the goats milk multi base from Candles and Supplies to make a thicker cream for feet and other rough areas.Steph
AngelaVA
I tried the lotion and the shower gel bases from Candles and Supplies and I was not impressed. The lotion was really runny and left a film on my hands - like I could never get it rubbed in all the way. The shower gel had a very distinct smell to it that my FO couldn't cover up (I used the proper amount). When I got out of the shower, I smelled like the shower gel base, and couldn't smell the FO at all. I won't be trying anymore bases from them. Just my experience though. Crafty1
BCN is who i use for both my lotion and body wash bases. i love them both. the only thing with the body wash is if you add too much color or FO it will thin, however, i solve the thinning problem by adding some Crothix.
