flightoffancy
This is my 1st ever wicked pillar and to boot it's my 1st grubby too.Does it look like it's burning like it is supposed to? This is only the 2nd burn, 1st burn was 4 hours and this burn is going on 5 hours. I'm wondering if the shell is too thick or should I keep burning to see if I have a blowout before I up the wick?

gingerinarkansas
I love grubbies and you did a great job. Love the color. Ginger
Abbiepql
Very pretty ~ I wick mine so they burn leaving a shell - people like them cuz they can put a votive down in it afterwards, like a hurricane. I don't mess with "self-consuming" pillars, they are too many variables to deal with.
HeavenScentU
I love the color. I would only burn it 3-4 hrs. Then you can get a good start to the melting pool.
Scented
Well I'd probably go up a size, since the goop (grubbiness) makes them wider than what they are. I think you have room, but see how it behaves burned till the end. It may act differently.

flightoffancy
Ohhh where did you get that mold? I like it! Totally cool looking!I honestly have no idea where the mold came from. We recently moved and while unpacking I came across this round grubby mold and a heart shaped grubby mold that I don't remember buying. flightoffancy
That's a very pretty color! Reminds me of something lemon-y.Thanks! It's actually scented Lemon Verbena from Candle Science. That is one SUPER strong FO!
Oceangazer1
That is adorable! I love making grubbies. I think the MP is fine, unless you want a thinner shell, then test the next largest wick. You want to be careful of a blowout. Keep your notes so you don't have to test it again. I think it looks great!!
Ring of Fire
I think it looks perfect. I wouldn't go any bigger with the wick on a grubby. I made them for years and you have to be careful of the sides blowing out. The color is great too. When I started they didn't have molds. You had to grubby them by yourself, then do the frosting.
