Wick'n'Wax
So....eventually after getting my hands on a load of pinecones, I've tons left. Do they keep? They are perfectly dry and boxed up, just wondered if they would be ok for next christmas?
Stella1952
I have some from wreathmaking projects 13 years ago in my shed. They look fine, but they are very brittle. Probably shoulda used them 8 years ago...:rolleyes2:laugh2:
Late Night
Hee-hee Stella. You've got me beat. I've had mine sitting in a basket in front of the fire place for only 5 years. They are a little dusty but fine.
homemadecookie
I have had some of mine for a couple of yrs too. Just dont leave them where the critters can chew on them. I have to fight the squirrels for them from under my mother in laws trees. If I dont pick them up fast enough they have them chewed off and leave them looking like a bare corncob. I had left some in a basket on the porch only to be snitched by the little varmits!
