barncat
I need help!! My insurance dropped my insurance and won't renew cause my crappy insurance agent dropped the ball. So...even though she is still looking...I need to look too!
GourmetSoy
If you're looking for liability coverage I suggest Handcrafted Soapmakers Guild. If you don't make soap then they have another site to go through for the same coverage. You can get 1mil for $480 or 2mil for $535. The also cover you at craft shows. You can read the entire policy on the site. Here's the link for info: http://www.soapguild.org/insurance.phpHope that helps!

barncat
yeah! I called the soap Guild insurance gal and I still need another insurance policy on top, but even with that, i'll save almost $2700 a year vs my previous policy! Glad I started making soap!:highfive:
HeavenScentU
I was comparing my policy with the soapguild insurance. Am I reading this correct, it doesn't cover your premises or stock if you have a fire. What do you all do if you have a small fire in your work room at home caused by making soap or candles? heirloomoriginals
I have mine through Benchmark. Very reasonably priced and you have a choice of different coverages.Stephanie

HeavenScentU
That is interesting Barncat. I am not sure why anyone wouldn't want to cover their home-based business. hmmmmm......
