PSPjen
Ok, so here it is. The first attempt cracked, so I remelted and repoured last night. This one actually came out of the mold, woohoo! lol The picture was a little dark to start with. It's not fantastic, but I guess not so bad for my first ever..... SatinDucky
Looks like you got the embedding part pretty good, no missing chunks of wax on the picture like I had my first try Maybe try to do some photo editing on the picture. Either fade out the background around her or maybe fill it in with a solid complementing color. Then pick a shape like oval or rectangle and make the color fade out. Personally I put all my pictures on a rectangular paper to embed, changing only the shape of the photo itself inside. It makes it much easier to get it straight and the white border hardly shows in the wax.

sharyl55
Looks like you did a good job of embedding the picture. It just takes practice editing and framing pictures. I like to leave a white margin below the picture. Makes it a lot easier to position the picture in the mold. I'm sure she will be thrilled with it. Aspencreek
A hurricane sure is no easy feat. I think it looks great for your first one. It is fun making them and really when you become pretty good at them they are so much easier.
