ah-soy
I'm tinkering with my sugar scrub recipe and want to try some polysorbate 20 in place of e-wax. I currently use stearic and e-wax at the same weight. Just wondering if anyone can give me a ratio of e-wax vs. the poly...same amount, more less etc? sorry, I've never used the poly so don't know where to start.... katshe
I just saw a recipe for cystic acne in the recipe section that uses poly 20 I believe it is recent I just posted a reply todayCheck out her amounts. That may give you a starting point.
TheQueen
I use PS 20 at 3.5% and it works well and I don't use e-wax at all--stearic at 10% and cetyl alcohol at 8%. HTH.
Carriegsxr6
Some e-wax's already have Polysorbate 20 in them. Check out Polawax NF available at Oregon Trails. Its a blend of e-wax and polysorbate 20.

Debk
The queen, what type of receipe is the ratio you gave for? Curious since I have tons of the items (poly 20 and cetyl) and would like to use it.
