Mommy2preciouskids
What size JJ are the best? I'm looking for some good ones and all of them seem the same to me! What is the difference in JJ's beyond size? Thanks!
crafty in SC
I find for me 8 ounce jelly jars sell real good. It all depends on how much a person is willing to spend. I would have a hard time selling a larger jar. Some people do better with the larger jars. Its all according to the market in your area. AngelaVA
The smaller jars seem to be easier to sell and are pretty easy to wick (for me anyway). It lets people buy more scents - rather than one large jar. But, like the above poster mentioned, it really will depend on your area and who you are marketing to. deputy6512
I just wanted to add that I'm learning fast that people in my area want larger jars. Currently, my largest jar is the 8oz jelly jar, but I am now testing the 16oz apothecary because of numerous requests for larger jars:confused:
Sharon in PA
We pour in the straight 8 oz JJ's AND the wide mouth 8 oz-I call them our fatty 8's~These jars sell much better than the straight 8's for some reason, I like them for the wider mouth-wider melt pool. HTH!
Kaybee23
I just started testing the widemouth 8 oz jelly jars and really like them so far. I was in search of a less expensive jar to my keepsake jars. I like them for the wide open surface area. I am also going to test the 16 oz. widemouth as well, if the 8 oz. does well for me.
