Sally Posted April 22, 2008 Share Posted April 22, 2008 Has anyone subbed water for a strong infusion of jasmine tea in their soaps?I was drinking some yesterday & wondered if it might retain any of the rather delicate scent at all.....can't afford any jasmine absolute, not even a dilution at the moment :undecided Sally. Meridith Posted April 22, 2008 Share Posted April 22, 2008 I haven't done jasmine tea but I do sub in green tea which does not keep its scent so I must add FO. I really doubt it would keep any of its scent - especially if doing cp soap since it can be very hard on fragrances. But it might add some nice lable appeal. Give it a try.
