tamsoycandles
Has anyone used Kentucky Candle Wax Supply's Soy Pillar wax? How easy is it to work with? How does it perform as a pillar? Have you compared it to EcoSoya PB?Thanks,Tony
realmarcha
If you are talking about KY's All Natural Votive/Pilar wax, I have used it for years for my votives...makes beautiful votives. I found this wax to be a bit on the soft side for pillars. However, if you are not opposed to a paraffin blend, the KY143 is an excellent pillar wax...have used it for years too. ebcandles
I use that wax for pillars and I think it works great. With the proper wick, it melts down completely - no hugging required.

How nice does it color?Tony
ebcandles
Release is great. I've never noticed any cracking issues. Because its soy wax, color is always going to be pastel but I add enough colorant to make it dark.
