coco
Gorgeous soap that stinks? I used black mica, and it turned out beautiful, but Bert's Amber smells nothing like Amber and more like a musty attic. I've had people tell me it smells like everything from playdough to their grandfather's mothball encrusted sweater. Now if it was ugly but smelled lovely, i would just use it up myself, but what do you do with a pretty soap that just plain stinks?
sudsnwicks
If I didn't like the scent and nobody else did, I would probably shred it up and add it to an unscented batch. The scent wouldn't go away, of course, but it'd be much lighter when you add it to another batch.
Carriegsxr6
or rather than shred, you canjust cut up into cubes and mix with an new scented but uncolored batch. you will still be able to see the prettyness of the first batch
jade
I give soap that I don't like to a shelter for victims of domestic violence. It is much appreciated. I also gave some to a group of women who were preparing packages to send to soldiers. I figure somebody will like the scent!
