flightoffancy
Try the HTP 83, it might surprise you. IIRC that's what I was testing with the PB and it was working really well.
Stella1952
Try a CD7 or CDN 6-7. I hope you are test burning in a tightly fitted votive container and burning all the way down. I have had good success using the above wicks with the same wax you are using. Good luck! Leaves wax on one side With self-trimming wicks, you may need to recenter the wicks as they burn down to keep the HEAT centered in the container. Brenda (OH)
If you want to stick with LX wicks bump up another size. I use LX 16. I know they seem big but that is what works best for me. I have tested in 6228 and the KY 50/50 votive/pillar wax.
realmarcha
Actually, if you test a CD10 and an HTP83 side by side, they burn pretty much at the same rate.
ebcandles
Have you tried the RRD series? I use an RRD29 for my votives.

TxGirl
Wow, mine are a big difference from what you all are using. I use CD 5 with that wax in votives. I get a perfect burn every time. Slow burning, good scent throw, if it hangs up a little it catches up, and it burns all the way down till the wick burns out.
Sharon in KY
Try the CD's again but after securing the wick and pouring your wax, twist the wick three or four times. I use a couple of craft sticks rubber baned together to hold wick straight and a mini cloth's pin to hold the twisted wick till set. Hope this works. Gdawg
I had one heck of a time with votives also. I haven't done them in awhile but when I did I belive it was the LX14 and sometimes the LX16 or the RRD29
Carriegsxr6
RRD 34's work perfect for me. not sure what kind of votive holder u are using :undecided
heirloomoriginals
I use mostly cd8's in that wax.Steph
Kimdles
I use only HTP 73 and HTP 83's. I may get some slight hang up on the first 3hour burn, but subsequent burns always take it down. I am getting about 18 hours for my 2oz votives.
