soycrazy
Was curious what you all use for soy votives. I use the el wax right now, but I was kind of looking for something to make pillars with too. I'm looking for all veggie wax with soy
JacquiO
Ecosoya Pillar wax was the best I've personally found. The votives don't crack although I still reccommend cooling slower by putting a box over them or putting them an unlit oven. It also makes a nice 1 pour pillar. Carriegsxr6
I use cargill V-1 and mix a little C-3 with it. Or you can just use a container wax and add some steric acid to it, in order to harden it up a bit.

soycrazy
Thank you everyone I was looking into the Ecosoya, but I'm going to look into all the ones you suggested
Jeana
I use Strahl & Pitsch smooth pillar blend for my votives. I like how you can wick it way down compared to Ecosoya. For no scent you can use an lx 8. With scent lx 10 or 12 does fine.It has better throw, you can do super dark colors and it never gets powdery like ecosoya. This wax never cracks. They give you free samples, and if you like it, it is cheaper than other soys. You don't have to baby it with particular pour temps, but they look best with a second pour. I think it is kind of soft to use straight to make pillars with, but you may not think so.
