Bobbie
Hi guys, I am trying to get my shea butter packaging worked out and I need your opinions. I just got my jars in finally and have been tweaking the labels. How do these look. Would you change anything? The one on the left is standard whipped shea. The one on the right is whipped shea with menthol, peppermint, lavender, and eucalyptus. These are 2oz jars and the listed weight is just a marker for now. I'm not sure yet how much will fit in the jars. Contact info, directions, and ingredients are on the backside.Opinions?TIA

Michi
I like them, but I think I would put the weight at the very bottom, below all the other wording. JMO

maryann
I like them, but I think I would put the weight at the very bottom, below all the other wording. JMO I third that Your labels very professional, interested in knowing what this combo (peppermint, lavender, and eucalyptus) smells like. Are you able to describe it? Bet w/ that ingredients your product is very refreshing!
Bobbie
Thanks guys! I will have to try the weight at the bottom. I just thought it would make it look too top heavy. Does that make sense?I think I will sleep on it a bit before I decide for sure. I'm too indecisive for this design stuff. :undecided Where did you get your jars? I like them a lot. Tammy, I got them from www.thesage.com . They are the size 2oz straight based frosted jars (size 58 black tops).Your labels very professional, interested in knowing what this combo (peppermint, lavender, and eucalyptus) smells like. Are you able to describe it? Bet w/ that ingredients your product is very refreshing! It is very refreshing, minty with a strong undertone of lavender and a slight green note... hum..mix a tiny bit of Vick's with a little peppermint and lavender. I mixed it to match a commercial foot lotion that I use to buy. It's 4 parts lavender 3 parts peppermint 2 parts menthol crystal and 1 part eucalyptus EOs, if you want to try it. Straight OBB it is strong enough to clear your head but not super overpowering. A little will go a long way.

maryann
I was thinking at the bottom (for the weight) because that's where you always see it in the stores, at the bottom. More habit for me where you have it now is fine. This thought just popped into my head ... when you read a label you read top to bottom with the important stuff in descending order like what it is, the scent, and so on (IMO the weight isn't as important).I've played with that mixture except for the lavender and menthol crystal, that's why I was curious what the scent would smell like... sounds like a nice scent. Am I even in the same ball park in thinking that the menthol crystal and a peppermint EO give the same tingle effect? or is the menthol crystal more intense? Scented
Love the look of those and having the weight higher doesn't bother me at all either. The weight overpowers nothing, so I don't think it needs to be moved. JMO
