YooperCandles
How much do you pay (approximately) on a case of wax for shipping? I order my wax from BCN, which is about a 3 - 4 hour drive from me and pay between $18 and $19 for shipping for one case of wax. Is that good or not? Thanks ~ Pam
TiffanyK
I think $18-$19 is good. I usually pay about $25-$26 for a case.

Jeana
I just paid $21 for 20lbs. When I ordered my last case it was about $33. Consider yourself lucky, believe it or not.
BruceCarvesWax
My shipping quote this time was just under $8.00 a case. (pallet quantity and shipped by truck line) Might be worth doing a coop for some of you that live close to each other. Bruce
7Angela7
I pay around $25/case.
Candlegurl
Bruce-If you don't mind me asking...how many pounds in a pallet? I pick up my wax and can only fit 1400 lbs in my car at a time...wondering when I'll be up to pallet quantities... TIA Stacy
lindsaycb
My husband picks my wax up for me from BCN when he travels that way. If I could help you in any way, I would! He still travels up to Iron Mountain every couple of weeks too. But, in an emergency, I'm in the same boat with you in shipping. It drives me NUTS
The_Dallas_Texas_Dean
I didn't realize how spoiled I am living in Dallas with several suppliers here in the metroplex. That would be a hard expense for me to grasp having never paid shipping for wax.Yikes! Nearly half the cost of the wax just to get it to you! AND....I can't even imagine how much wax a pallet would be in pounds!!! OR even the volume of 1400 LBS...thats like 25 cases!! You guys must make thousands of candles! Good for you!!!!!!!:highfive:
BruceCarvesWax
40 cases to a pallet, so thats about 2200 Lbs. of wax. I think some of them come 32 on a pallet too, maybe the 60# cases.. if they still make them. Bruce
Candlegurl
Thanks Bruce...guess it won't be long before I take the pallet plunge.
Scented
Nadda cuz we go and pick it up usually. So whatever the price for the trip would be our cost. It doesn't surprise me that a case would cost that much.
clonefan80
i'm with Bruce on this one, i buy by the pallet as well. But...there is a company in Springfield, MO, Morriswax (google it for the website) and he has some excellent pricing on wax, if he has two or more people in the same area he will split the shipping charges among them. He is regional though so you'd have to call him and ask what states he services.
firstlady
Last week i ordered 50 lbs of kyparsoy for tarts, 3 8 ozs bottles of fo and my shipping was almost $15 that was good, cheaper than it would have been in gas. i use to buy just the 11 lbs and the shipping was much as the wax. a 11 lb slab of wax with shipping was $19 and some odd cents. DeeB
My supplier is about a 21/2 - 3hrs drive for me. A 50 pound case of wax was 15.27 for shipping. So 18.00-19.00 isn't that bad. Dee
SatinDucky
I just ordered 2 cases this weekend and it was $35, so I was pretty pleased
