Bernadette
Just a mention here...I received an email thru my webstore Friday - Notice of Underreported Income(Fraud Report), supposedly from the IRS; of course with a link to view my tax statement at their online site. The report number was very convincing, but it wasn't mine! When I checked the source of the email, the ip address was from Trinidad! Of course I didn't click on it:tiptoe:, but wanted to let everyone know that this is going around. Obviously, I think they're hoping you'll be unnerved enough to click on it without thinking. Candybee
IRS does not send out emails. They notify by mail.
rebeccajo99
Thanks for the warning. I teach piano a couple days a week and post ads on craigslist when I have openings... I am constantly getting those spam e-mails from that. Good catch on your part.
