thecraftasaurus
Has anyone ever come across a true garlic FO? A roasted garlic would work as well. I'm still working with my pizzeria to find a scent they like.
felixncharlie
I dont know where to find garlic but have you thought about something like an italian dessert? Maybe like lemon italian ice or cannoli instead of a pizza or garlic?
thecraftasaurus
*sigh* I wish I could try that. This place is totally stuck on wanting a pizza scent. It's taken me weeks to convince them that I can't just make an actual pizza scent into a fragrance oil.

Might work.

NewOrleansLady
Don't they realize customers will never smell the candle over the cooking of the pizza smell already there? They need something that will compliment that smell already there like maybe a wine...but some customers you just can't educate!!! Food smells do work tho, I made up a white chocolate bread pudding scent for a friend with a restaurant and on weeks when she burnt it (every other week for 6 weeks as a test) she sold twice as much bread pudding. thecraftasaurus
Thanks for all the advice everyone!I guess they want these candles as a giveaway or something to do with marketing. The problem is that they have an idea in their head of what they want and they don't understand that I can't just dump anything into wax to make a scent. They've even asked if I can put real pepperoni in while I'm melting the wax!!
