lambofgoth
I've been lurking for a while and have learned quite a bit but (out of necessity) I've finally worked up the nerve to ask a few questions and then hopefully I can view more of the site!Do those of you making CP milk soaps color them? They are the only type of soap I make and have yet to try coloring them. Do you color them the same way you color non-milk soaps? For that matter, have you tried vanilla stabilizers or titanium dioxide without losing quality? Thanks in advance! Edited November 18, 2009 by lambofgoth Added "CP" for clarity. chuck_35550
I never color my milk soaps. Personally, I like the tan or chocolate colors from using certain fos with vanilla. I swirl all my other recipes with color.
vberkesch
My 50/50 milk soaps I always color and depending on the fragrance used, the color is beautiful. Sometimes the fragrance will make the soap brown or tan more - with those I will leave brown on the bottom and color the top of the bar and not use the fragrance for that part. My 100% milk soaps I leave tan/brown. Vanessa

Kitn
I use milk in most of my soap . I color them as you would non milk soap . I really enjoy using the TBK pop micas to color any kind of soap.

Stinkydancer
Wow beautiful suds! I rarely color my milk soaps- I like the browns. But I may try that 50/50- that sounds like it would be pretty. Thanks for sharing.
