Candle Man
The page you buy the mold on has this info Suggested wick: 24 Ply Flat Braid or #1/0 Square Braid.
Candlelovr
I saw that, but, unfortunately thats the recommeded wick for all of their molds. I was assuming that would be too small for this size mold.
Margaritamama
My mold is 6.5 by 4.5 and I've used both a 30 ply flat, and a 36 ply flat. The 30 worked good until the last 2-3 inches, then it did not really consume all the wax. The 36 worked good at the end, but burnt like a flame-thrower for the first few burns. I had to limit my burns to about 1-2 hours, depending on how far down it had burned. I've landed up using the 30 ply......Hope that helps you!:smiley2:
Scented
I saw that, but, unfortunately thats the recommeded wick for all of their molds. I was assuming that would be too small for this size mold.Don't assume. They don't when they post what has worked for them. Just remember everyone's likes and results can, and often are, different. Breanna
I have the 4 sided 6.5x4.5 pyramid and I use the 24 and the 30 flat Braid wick( not at the same time, one or the other just to clarify) and it worked very good all the way to the end,,,I love it!!! And Peaks are very good about testing their products and can be trusted for their input,,,,HTH,,,
