kyme1911
Well I guess I know how to pick-um...for the high cost, I am really disapointed. I know I am not supposed to judge OOB, but I hate to waste wax. Kyme
tootie04
I only use their FO's in soap...PM me if ya wanna sell what you have...tell me in hte PM what scents you have from SW.
ChrisR
You absolutely cannot judge ANY FO from the bottle, putting it in wax or soap or whatever will change it completely in most cases. If you call it wasting wax to test a new FO, then you are in the wrong business!! :rolleyes2
tootie04
SW has very complex scents and most are better suited to soap....I have found very FEW candle scents (in 10 years of making candles) that changed alot in the wax from OOB, a very few...everyones nose is different too. ChrisR
I use SW's FO's in my CP soap and candles and haven't had any that I use not throw great. I've had a few that I just don't like, but never made that judgement till I thoroughly tested it in wax or soap. Many FO's OOB, to me, can smell chemically and the multi layered FO's never blossom till they are in a product, whether it's soap, lotion, candles, etc. My point to Kyme is that if she thinks testing FO's is a waste of wax and she's just gonna OOB sniff to make a judgement, then she's gonna miss out on a bundle of great FO's that come alive in her wax!! Sorry, I guess I'm having a negative day...for my own personal tastes. I really like 2 scents I purchased last week from SW. I love "multi Layered" scents, that is one reason I purchase many of my favorite oils from soap suppliers. Kyme
Noodle
Oh for crying out loud, Kyme does not like the scents and is disappointed. She aired her disappointment. Scents may change in the finished product, but not much. I have used hundreds of oils and generally the ones that are disappointing in the bottle, are just as disappointing in the finished product. Also, if you are using MP soap, it will smell relatively the same as OOB. It does not matter how a scent throws if you are disppointed with the scent to begin with. beesweet
SW isn't the best for candles in my experience (parasoy). I guess I don't know how to pick 'em either. I also had to use up a whole batch of soap in their amazing peach something or other that they tested so long and hard because it had absolutely no scent whatsoever at 1 oz ppo. Generally, SW FOs are bath and body only for us. All suppliers have "duds" for one person or another.

Too costly for candles - for me.Sorry yours didn't work out. It's always such a downer. The buildup on the sites are tremendous and I don't always agree. dabbledoya
An oldie but goodie from SW is Green Irish Tweed. It works great in both CP soap and 6006.
