cactusladycandles
A customer of mine wants me to make tart melts using palm wax and EO.Does anyone do this, and if so, how much EO do you put in one pound of wax. Either teaspoons or drops.
chuck_35550
Good luck with that. Essential oils are expensive, dangerous if you don't know what you're doing and aren't famous for great ht. Ask the customer if they want to pay the extra amount for such a request. I mean you are talking a whole new line of product and expensive testing to satisfy one customer. Circle
Never had a problem with HT and essential oils, ever!
Stella1952
I have only used a few essential oils and I tested those with 1 oz. PP. The throw wasn't quite as strong as with some FOs, but it was pleasing nonetheless. If you search the Veggie Wax forum for "essential," you should find older posts where people discuss their experiences with EOs. Not all EOs are created equal! Some are quite concentrated; others are not. It helps to buy from a company that specializes in EOs for candlemaking.
