bugtussle
Just finished 3rd Fundraiser since end of Sept. First was small, came in at $2500 gross, 2nd one was supposed to be about $8,000 to $10,000, came in at $16,600, 3rd was $13,500 (2,248 tins @6.00.) DH and I have just about killed ourselves but we did it. Wish you could prepare for them, but never know how much will sell. I find them to be both a blessing and a nightmare! bugtussle
Yes, I do live in Central Texas, south of DFW. No, fundraising is not my #1 business, I have several wholesale accounts, do one local trade show, and have a few consignments. Also send out a lot of call-in orders. I know I have been very lucky as we have about 4 or 5 fundraisers a year. They just scare me. That's why I don't get a website, like the commercial, what if you get $1,000,000 in orders all at 1 time. Oh, to have such problems!!!By the way, I could never be smart enough to quit learning. I love this board!
Shawnee
I thought so! I've seen you and your candles on the news, I believe this time last year.
