felixncharlie
Hi,I have given up on finding a true plumeria so now I have an obsession to find a great honeysuckle. I have purchased CS,Peak,BCN so far. Has anyone tried Sweetcakes? Either plain honeysuckle or honeysuckle hollow? Thanks
chuck_35550
JBN had one called Honeysuckle Blossoms but its gone now (I have a little on hand) NG has an ok one too but I don't sell much of that fragrance. HTHSteve
rachelb5499
Felix, whether it's "true" or not, I CANNOT comment, but have you tried BCN's Plumeria? (I've got a TON of rave reviews from my testers and customers.)As far as honeysuckle, I like Bert's Heaven Scents (but she doesn't have any IN right now...because of her supplier issues, but she SHOULD get it back in.) and AAA Candle's is pretty good too. I haven't tried Sweetcakes so can't comment there. Also, I'm not a Chandler so I can just comment on SCENT...
Karen M
I love MC's honeysuckle, and I agree with rachel5499 BCN has a great plumeria, it is like the old BBW plumeria.
Candybee
I use the Honeysuckle from Fillmore Containers and love it. They have quite a few florals that are dead on and great sellers for me.
felixncharlie
Thanks for the honeysuckle info. BBW is exactly the kind of Plumeria I don't want, LOL. That Plumeria is a fantasy scent and smells NOTHING like the real thing. I am still on a quest to find a more true one but heck since everyone buys the BBW types they probably would smell the true thing and not like it LOL. lsbennis
Daystar has a Honeysuckle scent, according to them its a true Honeysuckle but I haven't tried it but it sounds nice.
angielyn
I have Honeysuckle from C&S and NG and I like both BUT the C&S one smells more like a real honeysuckle to me.
felixncharlie
I just received the Daystar Honeysuckle today, it's very nice. I will be putting it in wax tomorrow.
DebM
Brambleberry! I get most of my florals there and my customers are always telling me how realistic they are. I make m/p - just starting to dabble in candles.
rachelb5499
To be honest, I can't recall what a real plumeria flower smells like. I agree with you though that BCN's is NOT the "true" thing. I just know it does really well for me. LOL BUT I also liked AAA Candle Supply's different plumeria scents and since I just admitted I don't remember exactly recall what a true plumeria flower smells like this is going to sound dumb, but I thought it smelled more "natural" and true. Do with that what you will. I know I'm not being toooooo helpful. lol
