brempel
This is a recipe that I think I am going to try. I put it throught the lye calculator. What do you think of it?coconut 80oz.palm 10oz.mango 10oz.olive 10oz.Total Oils: 110.0oz.Water: 36.7oz. Lye: 18.8oz.
ksackett
It sounds good. Be sure to go with the extra light olive oil to make the odor light and the green color not so prominent. Let me know how it turns outKristina
Scented
What's your superfat on it with that much coconut in it? Where's there a lye calc that allows more than 100 oz of oils? I think if you have a normal superfat with that much coconut in it and it isn't a salt bar that someone's skin is gonna hurt.
Kitn
I agree with Scented, that is a lot of CO if it isn't a salt bar. Do you have any OO? I would take at least 60% of the CO out and use OO.
CareBear
I think that's an awful lot of soap for the first run at a recipe. I'd suggest keeping it to about 32 ounces of oils total.

I agree with CareBear. I do batches of 100 ounces now, but you are better off starting with a pound or two batches. Your batches will be more managable if your FO seizes up on you. Candybee
I looked at it and thought thats a recipe for a salt bar. Nice one too. But looks like you meant 8 oz CO? Or am I wrong.

Use the coconut but keep it around 20% of your recipe. but, I have to say I just don't like it. I work with mango, and you have to have a good combo of oils going on here. Sorry
