LadyJo
I'm guessing most of the suppliers suppliers would be found in China !!!
Faerywren
The Candlemaker's Store manufactures, I believe. It's stated on their site that they supply fo's to other candle and soap making suppliers. That's why we find so many FO's with different names that smell the exact same. They are manufactured at the same place, but suppliers change the names to fit their own company. So you've bought the same oil from 2 different places with 2 different names thinking you're getting 2 different things, but you're not. And I really hate when that happens. carol k
Lebermuthbelle-airebulkoilssaveonscentsscentitonlyfragranceThere are alot of U.S.A. fragrance oil manufacturers. I highly doubt to many suppliers get their oils from china. There used to be a list on here somewhere. Try the search feature.
SliverOfWax
A lot of formulas are proprietary, so it doesn't matter in the slightest who manufacturers it.
chuck_35550
If I'm not mistaken, some of these distributors use a perfumist to blend their oils. There are a couple of folks that blend their own and a couple of folks who shouldn't. I am stuck with a good many of those oils blended by shouldn't. AlwaysWondering
A lot of formulas are proprietary, so it doesn't matter in the slightest who manufacturers it.I don't care if they are prorprietary, that wasn't my quesiton. Duh. Of course many of them are proprietary, no big revelation! I asked the question because it does matter to me. Glad it doesn't matter to you, nice of you to share, as usual. annie123
I have never bought from Scentit and Onlyfragrance their FO's are a little more expensive that what I am used to. Are they worth the higher prices?
KarenOH
http://www.iftfragrances.com/index.htmI know this is where an old supplier of mine used to get their oils. When the supplier went out of business about 8 yrs ago....I was able to order a couple of times doing co-ops.

Free shipping over $50.00 can't beat it.
sporadic
The Candlemakers Store is not a manufacturer - they buy from manufacturers and resell. Try Belle Aire or Agilex.
EnvyCandles
The Candlemakers Store is not a manufacturer - they buy from manufacturers and resell. Try Belle Aire or Agilex.According to the candlemakersstore, they do manufacture their own oils. Why would you say they only resell?

I asked the question because it does matter to me. Glad it doesn't matter to you, nice of you to share, as usual. If it's proprietary, do you think they'll tell you? No, of course not. In other words, it's none of your business. Glad I could help, though. Perhaps you could call the suppliers and ask the same question you asked here. EricofAZ
It is my understanding that Bill at www.snowdriftfarm.com will formulate for you (he's a chemist) if you buy 25 pounds. Pretty small quantity for a formula. He's soap oriented, not candle oriented if that makes a difference.
