chuck_35550
Not too bad for a first effort. I used a tbl of td in my oils and vanilla stabilizer in my fos and celestial princess pink and violet. The cake was lemon pound cake (it turrned a lemony color) and the icing was birthday cake (looks kinda strawberry). I placed a bing cherry on top (VanYulay in Amaretta Nog) and a teddy bear or hearts at the base. Sprinkled with irredescent pink glitter and purple jojoba beads and placed in a box covered by a blanket. The cupcakes are still soft and will need some more time to firm and so far the colors have not morphed. I used a large star tip and a bag to pipe on the frosting and it looks ok. I think the recipe needs work and maybe a size smaller on the tip. I should have waited on my fos that do not discolor and not so full of vanilla but you know how that works. They smell wonderful and not the worst but hopefully I can improve. It was fun.Steve
