Ravens
Has anyone tried AH/RE's Bamboo sugarcane and Elements'? If so, are they similar? Which one do you prefer?TIA
TallTayl
OOB they are very different. I use and love AH/RE's in anything and everything B&B (shampoo, conditioner, soap, lotion). It's bright, sweet, tart, fresh and very popular. The elements version is OK, but had I smelled it before AH/RE's I would have taken a pass on Bamboo Sugarcane altogether. I would describe it as more herbaceous and grassy.HTH
Candybee
I once bought a sample of Elements Bamboo Sugarcane and tried it in M&P soap. It was way too light and hardly had any scent at all even when I upped the amount. As far as I'm concerned its just not strong enough and smells rather bland OOB too. Ravens
Thank you! Believe I will stick with AH/RE :-)

ksranch
I'm pouring AH/RE Bamboo Sugar Cane now too (love it!) But people look at the name and kinda look puzzled... has anyone come up with a good 'rename' for this scent?
Lorelei
In my Bamboo Sugar Cane, I'm changing just to Sugar Cane and see how that goes. I think people are unfamiliar with bamboo.
Candybee
I think sugar cane is less confusing. I've been to Hawaii and to the cane fields and fresh sugar cane has a pleasant, sweet, green type scent. Sigh. I miss getting a fresh stick of sugar cane and chewing on it all day.
