Bottlecrafters
I am about 1/2 to 2/3 into some 3" x 4 1/2" glass containers using CD12 and CD14 wicks with GB464.I twisted the CD wicks to try to get an even burn pool. As I am testing for heat, I can touch 2/3 of the container where the flame is pointing away from, and the container is lukewarm. When I touch the section where the wick is facing, it gets hotter. I can place my hand around that section, and hold it there for 5 or so seconds before it becomes uncomfortable. What would you consider acceptable for this? Wessex
If I can pick up the candle and move it to a new location without it being uncomfortable, I consider it good. Remember that some people will not use common sense when burning a candle. If it is just for personal use, as long as it is not hot enough to start a fire, then it is good in my book. chuck_35550
Gee, that sounds about right for that configuration but you could try a 10 and see if that's a better fit. Personally, I don't encourage customers to pick their lit candles with liquid lava in them and move them around but you know how people are with lava.Steve
